Electrical Fire Damages Multi-Story Commercial Office Building
The fire occurred at night on the 8th floor, and smoked for a while before eventually being extinguished. This fire impacted all floors of the building but affected floors 7, 8, and 9 the most. We removed all flooring on 8th floor and ceiling tiles from all 3 floors. We then cleaned the structure from floor to ceiling. This included the area above the drop down ceiling. We placed and maintained air scrubbers throughout this entire process. We also cleaned all of the contents (desks, filing cabinets, furniture etc...) on these floors. All the HVAC ducts were also cleaned on the 8th and 9th floors. For this project, we replaced all the ceiling tiles and coordinated other contractors for carpeting and painting.
